What the fuck is sixapart really upto? My template’s all screwed up. I chose not the ad-supported plus account just because i didn’t want extraneous elements on my page and i was ok with giving up on all the extra plus features, so now they still want to advertise and are telling that i still have the same basic account. What kind of a fucking hypocricy is this!!
I want NO ONE to click on those ads!! unless your ad blocker hasn’t already removed them.

Ahhh LJ not so good after all?
For once I am happy to be a blogger.com user, I get the freedom to put in ads if I want to, or disable them completely that too without sacrificing any features 🙂

if you were keeping updates on livejournal. they were first bought by sixapart and then they were sold to teh russian company that was previously being outsourced (i think) to as russia has the largest lj userbase. dunno what’s happened after that.
livejournal code being open source, i never regretted that decision. lets see whats to be done of the ads.
they shouldn’t be there and my blog’s been fine with just basic account.

the post is not meant for rss readers and thankfully lj syndicates the whole content 🙂 but problem is even with adblockplus, the section doesn’t collapse for non-logged in users.

… i know you’re a bloglines supporter but that’s generic for any feedreader.
but then you have to visit to post comments, wherein i’m certainly not pleased to show you a ruined template, but anyways if you post a coment directly at the permalink, its not so bad. 🙂

Don’t think it’s something to do with myopenid as such. I remember posting comments here without a profile pic too 😛
I configured the profile pic a couple of weeks back on LJ. So, go and ask derekcordeiro.com to get an avatar 😉

aha… derek. tips and tricks for you, but then again its still a valid question… if services like myopenid is just openid providing service, what’s the harm in including a standard avatar size pic as well…in other words, is there any such limit on size of an openid’s information?
